Sophomore Kaitlyn Studebaker, as well as juniors Bri Strobert and Braulis Pimentel had huge performances to lead the Swansea Tigers volleyball team to a 3-1 victory over Brookland-Cayce on Thursday night.
Strobert played a big part in Swansea improving to 2-2 in conference play and 4-2 on the year. She led the way with 11 kills, hit .625 on the night and tallied 23 digs. Studebaker continued her dominance as she racked up 23 assists, 12 digs, and two aces. The Tigers also got 12 digs and three aces from Pimentel.
Swansea defeated the Bearcats 25-23 and 25-20 in the first and second set. It was a close third set, but B-C overtook the Tigers 25-17. Swansea fought hard in the fourth and posted a 25-20 win to clinch the match.
