The Swansea High School football team picked up its second region win of the season on Friday as they rolled past Pelion, 45-21. The win moves the Tigers to 3-5 overall and 2-1 in region play.
The win also puts Swansea in a two-way tie for second place in Region 5-3A with Brookland-Cayce. The Tigers will travel to B-C on Friday for the showdown that will determine which team will finish second in the region. If the Tigers win on Friday, they will finish second in Region 5-3A. B-C needs a win against Swansea and Strom Thurmond next week to finish second.
