Danae McNeal verbally committed to play for Clemson. She also considered Old Dominion and recently picked up an offer from Seton Hall.
“The main reason was that I wanted to attend a school where I felt at home and one where I felt the coaches were just as committed to me as I was to them,” McNeal said. “My education is always first, and Clemson was able to show me that this was an important factor and that I wasn’t just another student-athlete. I want to be able to play basketball and also graduate college. The time and devotion that this school put in with me was definitely a determining factor, plus they seem to have a great campus and student body.”
McNeal is the second commit for new Clemson coach Amanda Butler, joining Taylor Hosendove of Atlanta Westlake. Butler had an in-home visit with McNeal in March. Congrats once again and our Tiger Family is extremely proud of you. #KeepStriking! #PCCW!
